What is Justice?

What I think justice would be considered nowadays, is very similar to Thrasymachus' idea of justice. His definition of justice is basically that justice is the advantage of the strong. Now, what his meaning of what strong is could be anything, but my definition for strong relating to now is the ones who are considered powerful. I think powerful individuals have the advantages of justice because they have the wealth, the networks, and hopefully also worked very hard to be in such a higher position. But I can see why having the money and the people you know are the most important to get you to that spot. Why money though? Well, let’s face it, money is extremely important to this day and age. Because of this economy, the wealthy control a great sum of things. Which sometimes are not necessarily the best ideas, but that’s just how it works. But another important thing is your networks. The people you meet can get you very far. They can introduce you to even more important people, and so on. When you have all the connections, you can land yourself in a very good place, or an even better one. Justice comes into play when others starting asking what justice is. Those who decide that fate are the strong. They have the power to make the decision on the act of justice, or sometimes to not act. Everyone and myself included has their own opinion of what justice should be, but this is how I see how justice would be described today if one were to ask: What is justice?
